Sapele Wood

Sapele, also know as Sapelli, Undianuno, Penkwa or Entandrophragma Cylindricum, a reddish-brown wood quite similar to mahogany. It comes from a large African tree ranging from Sierra Leone to Angola and eastward through the Congo to Uganda.
Sapele is one of Europe’s most desired woods in manufacturing doors, windows and hardwood flooring. With it’s wide variety of applications, it is very popular as a decorative surface veneer for high-grade furniture such as cabinets and book cases, and is a great alternative to genuine Mahogany.
