Weaving Looms

Weaving Looms come in all shapes and sizes, from child-size to tapestry and large floor looms. The precise shape of the loom and its mechanics may vary, but the basic function is the same.
The loom is a device that is used to weave cloth, and the basic purpose of any loom is to hold the warp threads tight, to make interweaving of the weft threads easier. The act of weaving is accomplished by intersecting the longitudinal threads, the warp, i.e. “vertical, (up and down)”, with the transverse threads, the weft, i.e. “horizontal, (side to side)”.
